Shower Curtain Rings

Shower curtain rings are the primary way of fastening a shower curtain to the hanging rod. Although some curtains may have rings already packaged into the purchase, it is also possible to buy the rings separately if you are looking for a certain color, material, or style. One thing about shower curtain rings to consider is how easy it is to install on the rod or curtain. Be sure to select a ring which is not impossible to unlock and lock into place. Installing shower curtain rings should not be a difficult procedure. A second and important component of a shower curtain ring is the stability of the ring and it's attachment to the curtain. A common problem is the ripping and tearing of the shower curtain and unfastening of the ring from the curtain itself. As bathing areas are often very slippery it is easy to reach out and grab the shower curtain in the event of lost balance, most rings (and shower rods) for that matter are not strong enough to support this kind of weight for any duration of time. A key way to avoid the ripping of the shower curtain by the ring is to make sure that the holes on the curtain which the ring is placed through are actually encased in metal, this will provide needed stability. Finally as with all bathroom accessories shower curtain rings have become largely stylized. There are many looks to consider even in something that is as small as a curtain ring. The stainless steel movement in both the kitchen and bathroom has become somewhat of a signature style for the modern home; consider stainless steel shower curtain rings to improve the look of your bathroom.
